History
For over 15 years, Kryptonian ink has been apart of Hamilton's tattoo industry. Founded by the master sponsored artist Stephen Stacey. His ambition and keen interest in the technical aspect of tattooing gave him the opportunity to be mentored by some of the worlds top tattoo artists. After selling his Hamilton location to one of his graduated apprentices, he is currently expanding his franchise and opening another shop out in St. John NL.
Marina Violet - Owner/Tattoo Artist
Marina has been working professionally since 2020. In 2022 She took over the Hamilton shop from Stephen after a year of completing her apprenticeship. She has a diploma for Visual Design and fascination with art history that fuels her drive for any project that comes her way. She specializes in fine line, script, black and grey, realism and micro realism.
Ashley - Head Tattoo Artist
Ashley has been involved in the tattoo industry for 5 years. Her years of experience in the industry and art studies makes her a well rounded artist with a versatile skill set. She specializes in colour, colour realism, realism, cover ups, neo-realism, nature and animals.
Mia Rosa - Junior Artist
With a lifelong passion for creating, Mia transforms bold ideas into unforgettable art. Bringing over 10 years of experience working in and managing tattoo shops, they combine deep industry knowledge with fresh creativity. Having just completed their apprenticeship under Marina at Kryptonian Ink, they’re building a portfolio of bold and colourful neo-trad and trippy abstract flash—perfect for anyone looking to wear something truly one-of-a-kind.
Mia Rosa - Junior Artist
Rosie started her body piercing journey at Kryptonion ink in 2022. With a passion for body modification and the idea that everyone should feel comfortable in their own skin. Offering a calm, sanitary, and body positive environment to make each piercing one you'll celebrate. Specializing in navel, nipple and ear piercings of all kinds. She's also offering swarovski tooth gem services as of August 2025. She will style your piercings and tooth gems with precision and a gentle hand using special techniques to glide through each session with ease.
